You may not have the garden space or time to set up a composting site of your own. Apartment living can make you feel like there is no realistic way to participate in the growing movement of food waste diversion.
That’s where we come in! Awesome Possum Composting offers inexpensive curbside service to the Greater Athens Area. We collect all your kitchen scraps weekly and keep your discarded food waste out of the landfill. We can ensure that even materials that are traditionally considered “difficult to compost” can be returned to the food web and used to create rich, living soil.

+$2.00/month for each extra 4-gallon bucket.
Membership charged monthly.
On the week following your subscription you will receive a 4-gallon Awesome Possum Composting Bucket which will include detailed instructions and will notify you of your weekly scheduled pickup day.
Just fill the lined bucket with your food waste, leftovers and kitchen scraps and put it out on the curb the night before or before 8am on your scheduled pickup day!
